On August 29th, 2021, The ECO Channel will host a sustainability symposium to be held live at the University of Miami EXPO hall in Coral Gables and livestream to thousands. The ECO Channel is the first ever TV channel that focuses exclusively on sustainability, eco-friendly initiatives geared towards a safer and healthier planet.
The Symposium will focus on the five (5) pillars that are at the core of our content programming.

Panelist: Dr. FRANCESCO STIPO, President Emeritus, American Association of the Club of Rome
Dr. Stipo is the President Emeritus of the United States Association of the Club of Rome, the American branch of a global think tank, and was a member of the Club of Rome between 2011 and 2014. He is a member of the National Press Club in Washington D.C. and the Pacific Council on International Policy in Los Angeles.
He is regarded as a leading authority on global governance and a renowned expert on the geopolitics of energy.
Dr. Stipo published many articles in US journals and newspapers, such as The Hill, Business Insider, and The Street. He has been interviewed on PBS NewsHour, radio and print media and is frequently invited to speak in distinguished venues such as the United Nations, the East-West Center and Harvard University.
He is the author of the book “World Federalist Manifesto. Guide to Political Globalization” and he was elected as a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science for his contribution in the field of global governance.
Born in Italy, Dr. Stipo is a naturalized United States citizen. He holds a Ph.D. in International Law, and a master's degree in Comparative Law from the University of Miami.

As Founder of The CLEO Institute, Caroline Lewis promotes climate literacy and support for bold action. As Senior Advisor, she works with a stellar team to advance climate action as the urgent imperative it is. In 2002, Lewis, a science teacher & high school principal, created the Fairchild Challenge interdisciplinary environmental education program that annually engaging tens of thousands of students in Miami and around the world. As the 2016 founding Director of Cushman High School, Lewis worked with a strong team to provide a unique vision for a rigorous, creative, character-based and civic engagement-focused high school education.
In 2013, Caroline Lewis was nationally recognized as a White House Climate Resilience Champion of Change. In 2018, Lewis was named by Time Magazine as one of 31 individuals making a difference in the South.
Panelist: TEDDY L'HOUTELLIER Sustainability Manager at UM
Teddy Lhoutellier is the current Sustainability Manager for the University of Miami. Renewable Energy, Sustainability and Environmental Science are his passion. He started at the U in 2014, implementing the University's first comprehensive Sustainability Action Plan, after receiving a Silver ranking through the Sustainability Tracking and Assessment Rating System program. Today, the University of Miami is a STARS Gold University. The office of sustainability's team he manages help initiate, monitor, track, promote, and advertise sustainability initiatives across divisions, schools, and campuses. Green U, as the office is commonly known, is spreading sustainable development values everyday among UM community members.
Teddy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University, holding a MS degree in Environmental Studies - Energy Policy. He also holds a LEED Green Associate and a Project Management Professional certificate. He worked for four years as an Environmental Science and Environmental Policy Instructor at Florida International University and was the Outreach Coordinator for a Miami based Solar Panel Distributor. He's an active member of various environmental organizations in Miami Dade.

With over 20 years’ experience, Frances is a seasoned international real estate sales, marketing, and project coordination executive. Her focus is sustainable and regenerative real estate developments and has held managerial positions for multinational companies in several Caribbean islands and in Southeast Florida.
Frances has been featured as an international realtor selling properties in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in HGTV's popular show House Hunters International. She is a member of the regional technical committee for the Latin America and Caribbean initiative tasked with the translation of the (mM) Mindful Materials database into the Spanish language and is currently enrolled in Regenesis Institute’s Regenerative Practitioner Series.
Aside from her real estate practice, Frances also collaborates with developers, municipalities and project owners that are committed to sustainable and regenerative development and seek access to green finance for their projects.

Tony Cho is a real estate pioneer, impact entrepreneur, and founder of the Future of Cities – a mission-driven consortium and multi-pronged platform invested in transforming the built environment by adopting environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies to improve the quality of urban living. Influenced by his work as founder and chairman of Metro 1 – an award-wining, forward-thinking real estate investment, brokerage, management, and development firm that he still leads – Cho’s career has focused on shaping neighborhoods and developing sustainable cities in South Florida and beyond. He has completed over $3 billion in real estate transactions since 2005 and Metro 1 Commercial is frequently recognized as one of the top 25 commercial real estate firms in the region by the South Florida Business Journal.
Cho is also the founder of the Magic City Innovation District Little Haiti, an 18-acre large-scale regenerative mixed-use project located in one of Miami’s most vibrant cultural neighborhoods. He has also played an influential role in other emerging neighborhoods including Wynwood, as a founding member of the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID), championing the progressive rezoning of the area, which transformed blighted streets into a diverse, 24-hour, mixed-use arts and innovation district.
In addition to managing the Cho Ventures portfolio of companies and charities, Cho is also the co-creator, along with his wife, of ChoZen eco-retreat and sanctuary in Sebastian, Florida, a camp for the humanity of the future.
A Florida Native, originally from Vero Beach, Tony attended Northwestern University in Chicago. He has been awarded the prestigious young leader of the year by the Urban Land Institute and holds a CCIM designation.
Cho and his wife reside in Florida, splitting their time between ChoZen Retreat and Miami.

Michelle McLean, Miss Universe 1992, from Namibia, International Media Personality, MC, Motivational Speaker, Founder & Chairperson of the Michelle McLean Children Trust. It has initiated and run hundreds of projects over the past 29 years, including 10 projects for international celebrities, Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt. Raising over $40 million dollars. The Michelle McLean Primary School, provides education for thousands of children every year. The MMCT also provides scholarships, entrepreneurial and financial skills training. A television host and producer for 26 years, shows ranging from a reality model search program, showcasing celebrity homes, fashion, sports and travel documentaries.

Joseph B. Treaster is a journalist and professor at the University of Miami. Beginning at the university as the Knight Chair in Cross-Cultural Communication, he has specialized in the environment and the fundamentals of writing. Treaster worked for more than 30 years as a reporter and foreign correspondent for The New York Times in New York, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America and continues to write for the paper. He was part of The Times’ team that reported on the collapse of a condominium just north of Miami Beach that killed nearly 100 people in the summer of 2021. Treaster has reported on half a dozen wars and on diplomacy, disasters, business and everyday life in dozens of countries. He is the author of Hurricane Force: America’s Deadliest Storms, two other books and articles in the Atlantic, Harpers, RollingStone and other magazines.

Greg Branch is Partner at 1847Financial, and Founder & Managing Partner at Veritas Financial. He is a regular contributor to CNBC's "Squawk Box" and "Power Lunch, as well as Fox News' "Making Money with Charles Payne". He graduated from Princeton (cum laude) in 1996 and obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2001. Greg has over 25 years of experience as a Financial Services Executive.
He has served as an Analyst with Goldman Sachs, a Consultant with McKinsey & Company, a Senior Analyst with Morgan Stanley, a Vice President with Alliance Bernstein, an Executive Director with UBS, and a Managing Director with Canaccord Genuity, where he oversaw the entire Southeast region.

Professor David L. Kelly is the Academic Director of the MS in Sustainable Business, Co-Chair of the Sustainable Business Research Cluster, and Professor of Economics at the University of Miami Business School. Professor Kelly has previously held positions at UC-Santa Barbara and Carnegie Mellon University. Professor Kelly has published widely on the design of environmental regulation, optimal climate change policy, adaptation to climate change, economic growth and the environment, and the economics of natural disaster
